I’m so excited to share these #nakedskincampaign pics with u guys, they’re amazing!!
But let me take a moment and explain why we’re doing this.
Why am I making these beautiful women take off their kit??
As I’ve said before, I’ve been working on bodies for a long time. A couple of years ago I noticed that women were getting “desperate” to change their appearances via medical procedures.
I did some research and realised that this phenomenon had a lot to do with social media and pressures in modern day life to look perfect at every age.
It was only when much younger women approached me for the same advice, that I realized there was a much bigger problem here...
Let me give you an example of what I mean. I saw a 21-year-old woman who had her lips “done” and wanted advice as it did not look the way she thought it would.
This left me with such a feeling of dread. If we are teaching our kids that they are not perfect at 21. What are we doing to their self-esteem?
What are we teaching the younger generation about values and loving ourselves? What are we doing as women (mothers) to prevent this kind of negative self-image?
So, I started with myself. Low self-esteem has been a running theme in my life. Everyone who meets me always says” you’re so hard on yourself”. I know what it feels like to be beat down, be laughed at. To pick yourself up from that, only for it to happen all over again.
I just couldn’t stand to see another young woman go through that. And that’s how the #nakedskincampaign was born.
Let’s celebrate our differences, let’s love each other through our difficulties and flabby thighs ;)
Let’s empower ourselves and our sisters.
Let them know that they are loved, beautiful and absolutely perfect just as they are.
Always remember, there is nothing more beautiful than a woman who is happy and confident in her own skin💛✨💫
Sending you love and light xx
